Day 1, Arrival Vienna
Arrival Vienna Airport. Transfer to hotel. This afternoon your city sightseeing tour of Vienna;includes the Ringstrasse, the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts and Natural History Museum, the Museums Quarter, the former Habsburg winter residence, the Hofburg, Parliament, City Hall and Burgtheater. Overnight Hotel Savoy or similar.
Day 2, Vienna - Prague
Depart Vienna for Prague by first class train, reserved seats. Mid-afternoon arrival in Prague.Time for exploring Prague on your own. Overnight at Hotel Atlantic or similar.
Day 3, Prague
A half-day city sightseeing tour includes information on Wenceslas Square, Charles Square, walk in Prague Castle's courtyard and visit St. Vitus Cathedral. Continue over the Vltava to the Old Town - St. Nicholas Church and Old Town Hall with its astronomical clock. Afternoon and evening at leisure.
Day 4, Prague - Budapest
Early morning departure from Prague to Budapest by first class train, reserved seats. Travel thru Brno and Bratislava in Slovakia to Hungary's capital. Mid-afternoon arrival in Budapest. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel Duna or similar.
Day 5, Budapest
A half-day circuit of the Hungarian Capital starts with the impressive House of Parliament, then pass Margaret Island over Margaret Bridge to the Castle District for visiting Matthias Church, Fishermen's Bastion and Royal Palace. Then traverse the Danube for the busy Pest side with Heroes Square, Opera Houseand St. Stephen's Basilica.Afternoon at leisure. Opportunity to participate in a Sound of Budapest evening excursion (optional).
Day 6, Budapest - Vienna
Trains leave Budapest every two hours; pick your own departure time for the three hour ride thru the Puszta, Sopron and the vast Hungarian country side, cross into Austria and follow the Burgenland to Vienna. Overnight at Hotel or similar
Day 7, Vienna
